Linguist, Analyst, Researcher

About Me:

I recently moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, after a linguistics postdoc at Morehead State University (in Morehead, KY), working with Katy Carlson (NIH Grant: Accents and Syntactic Attachment). From 2012 to 2014, I was an Assistant Professor teaching linguistics courses in the Department of English Literature and Linguistics at Qatar University. In 2012, I received my PhD in Linguistics from the University of Michigan. Before that, I grew up in Ann Arbor, MI, attending Greenhills High School and going to college at Georgetown University, majoring in German.

As far as hobbies go, some of my favorites involve music. I've recently been getting more and more into electronic music, composition, sound engineering and performing as a dj. Here's a link to my Soundcloud site where I've posted some of my electronic music: http://soundcloud.com/markedfeatures
